Curators Notes: She welcomes the king with a powerful blow of an ivory horn. In some tribes within the traditional Igbo culture, side-blown horns are seen as a symbol of power and prestige. As such during public appearances of the king or ruler of the land, an ensemble of horns are blown, the loudness of which depicts the divine power wielded by him.
